By default, the =IMPORTFROMGOOGLE() function returns the first 10 Google results with the body, description, and URL. Since we’re looking for the LinkedIn URL of the company we can use the link data selector.
And as there’s a high probability that the company’s LinkedIn URL will be the first result, we can limit the number of results using the num_results option.
Just add this formula: =IMPORTFROMGOOGLE(A2&"LinkedIn","link","num_results:1")
To extract the profile URLs for other social media platforms, simply replace “LinkedIn” with the name of the platform; for example, “Instagram” or “Facebook”.
